The Samaritans of Ashford and Tenterden will be at at
Z008 (Zoo Thousand and Eight) Music
Festival at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park near Folkestone.
Headliners include DJ and Producer Mark Ronson. Samaritans will be
there with our mascot Sam Rabbit raising awareness and they'll have
a tent with an area for face to face chats.
Saturday July 19th

At Ashford's two biggest shopping centres - County
Square in the morning and then our landmark site
McArthur Glen Designer Outlet. We'll have Sam
Rabbit and volunteers handing out balloons, stickers and leaflets,
collecting much appreciated donations.

An awareness day on our local radio station KMFM
Ashford 107.6fm. Over the 6 hours, Samaritans
will have a volunteer each hour talking to the presenter about
the different areas of the service. There will also be
features about why volunteers do what they do. There will also
be a competition to win a weekend break thanks to a local travel
agent.
