Dragon Boat Challenge
On 11th July to coincide with the arrival of the Smart Car, York
Samaritans took part in the annual York Rotary Dragon Boat
Challenge on the River Ouse, a 250 metre stretch between
Scarborough and Lendal Bridges.
Volunteers were sucessful in raising funds and awareness for
their branch, but took home the 'Tailenders Trophy' a prize of an
oar for the slowest time! Better luck next year.
